Project 1
Our first group assignment was to finish up the questions below and construct a model from the questions given. My group members were Cheah Teck Wei and Chua Jiu Xin.
1. Construct the model together
2. Determine total surface area of the object.
We had to use the theory of Area of Segment during calculating the top surface area of the two combined cylinders.
Also, we also used the theory of Area of Sector in this question. Sector is the area confined by circumference of a circle and its radius.
Moreover, we also used the theory of Pythagorean Theorem while doing this question to determine the hypotenuse of a triangle.
CALCULATION
Reflection
From this project, I've learned how to apply formulas while calculating and also thinking how to solve the question. Constructing model wasn't as difficult as I thought when the dimensions are all calculated. It was a great experience doing this project and it was challenging. Not only that, I also learned to have a better time management while completing a task./

REFLECTION
From this project, I've learned that team work is very important as things cannot be done alone. Not only that I have also learned that time management is very important especially in printing wise. We should not wait till the last minute in case there is any technical problems.
