DESIGN JOURNAL 1
For the first design journal, we were required to create an artwork based on the design element 'point and lines' and also a design principle 'balance'. Before creating the artwork, we had to do research to understand the design element and principle first in order to come out with a great artwork.
DESIGN JOURNAL 2
For the second design journal, we were required to create 2 artwork based on the design element, shapes. Shapes can be in geometrical or biological. However, the second artwork has to be related with the element, emphasis. The emphasis art work shall be done in a collage way.
DESIGN JOURNAL 3
The third journal is about contrast and harmony. I was required to create an artwork related to my toy, Vegeta and also connecting to contrast and harmony. For my artwork, I've used a lot of colour which is very different from blue so that my toy can be enhanced.

DESIGN JOURNAL 4
The fourth design journal was very interesting as we had to create and artwork based on the elements, pattern, texture and grid. Pattern is the repetition of a design while texture is the feeling of touch when your hands touch something. For this artwork, I've used toothpick, straw and ice cream sticks to create a pattern and also texture at the same time.
DESIGN JOURNAL 5
For this design journal, we were required to create an artwork based on the motives or pattern of Angle Saxons, Celtic and Vikings era and also a file cover for the journal compilation. For the era artwork, I've choosen Viking's ship because it contains a great pattern. I've used black mounting board to create this artwork as I've added other element and principles as well. In this artwork, I cut out the mounting board and stick onto another mounting board to create the pattern, texture and also contrast of black and white. While for the file cover, we were required to create a cover, which includes our toy and us as well together.
